Climategate U-turn as scientist at center of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995. And he says his data isn't as good as it should be - after governments around the world have spent billions trying to fix an end-of-the-world crisis he got wrong. Time to put the scientists out to pasture and take their grants back! 01/25/2010 INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS UN Wrongly Linked Global Warming to Natural Disasters The London Times has reported that The United Nations wrongly linked global warming to natural disasters, further wrecking the credibility of the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and its Nobel Prize-winning 2007 climate report. As a result of outright fraud, much of the world public holds false beliefs that global warming has already increased the number and severity of natural disasters such as hurricanes and floods. It's time to shut down the IPCC and prosecute its leaders for fraud. 12/23/09 INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS Bangladesh in Copenhagen Teresa Platt, executive director of Fur Commission USA, asks if all the delegates and protesters really needed to go to Copenhagen and explains why the answer was yes. 12/17/09 INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS North hides nefarious aims under green cloak Thompson Ayodele writes that environmental groups from rich countries have for years waged a campaign against those in poor countries who want to harness their natural resources for economic growth. Their efforts threaten to do lasting harm to the aspirations of millions of poor people in Africa, Asia and Latin America, and must be resisted at all times and in all places. 12/10/09 INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS Beyond Debate? The Copenhagen summit is in full force, and so too is the idea that man-made global warming is incontrovertible. But Martin Cohen argues that the consensus is less a triumph of science and rationality than of PR and fear-mongering. |
